Astrid and the Space Cadets: Attack of the Snailiens - reviewed by Callum and Molly, aged 8

Callum says:

This is a really exciting book! It is about a group of friends who are all space cadets.

Space is a mess, so they are meant to clean up space junk, but they get a call with an emergency. Snailiens are eating the planet, all of the flowers and trees. Astrid needs to find Professor Quackers to work together to defeat the snailiens.

The pictures really helped me understand the story and were fun to look at too.

My favorite part is when Professor Quackers tried to shrink the snailiens with a shrink ray but they kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

My favorite character is Beryl because he is quite funny and he thinks the snailiens are cute.

A big 5 stars from me!

Molly says:

This book is really funny and adventurous. It's completely different from anything I have read before.  My favourite part was the same as Callum's,  when prof quackers tried to shrink the snailiens with a shrink ray, and, as Callum has told you, it didn't go too well! The pictures really helped me understand the story (especially when the snailiens couldn't fit on the page).

I would rate it 5 out of 5.
